Starting next week, the UAE will conduct a month-long artificial rainfall mission
The campaign is led by the National Meteorological Agency (NCM) and will be conducted before the end of September.
During the artificial rainfall process, researchers and pilots cross-check the performance of different cloud seeding materials, which will help NCM more accurately understand more effective cloud seeding methods.
According to a senior NCM official, 6 artificial rains have been carried out in the United Arab Emirates since June, and multiple rains have occurred across the country this month.
Artificial rainfall, a method that enhances the ability of clouds to rain, has been implemented in the United Arab Emirates since the late 20s.
